Windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %2 %1 %2 [when you press esc key at windows login / splash screen]

Solution:-
1. Boot the system using a resources cd [dell], bootable floppy, cd.
2. Boot the system into dos mode.
3. Type cd windows in the c:\> & press enter.
4. Type dir & press enter
5. Search for wininit.int.
6. Type ren wininit.int wininit.old.
7. Restart the system.
